After the electrifying launch of two innovative properties in the country last month – MySpace Secret Show and MUSIC CENTRAL, MySpace India is back with the next Black Curtain Screening. The social portal is geared up to exclusively screen the biggest release following the end of multiplex strike - ‘X Men Origins: Wolverine’ on June 18th for MySpace users in Mumbai and New Delhi. Having organized sold-out screenings of the films Slumdog Millionaire and Valkyrie for its users in Mumbai at the beginning of the year, the world’s premiere social network – MySpace is proud to present a Black Curtain Screening for the third time in Mumbai and for the very first time in New Delhi.
A truly unique experience, MySpace Black Curtain screenings offer MySpace users free access to the latest movies prior to public release. Fox Star Studios’ X Men Origins - Wolverine will be screened exclusively for MySpacers at leading cinema theatres in Mumbai and New Delhi on Thursday June 18, 2009. Nationwide, the film releases on Friday June 19th. MySpace users also get a chance to participate in innovative entertainment surprises such as interactive games, photo opportunities and celebrity meet-and-greets at the screenings.
"Like most of India, MySpacers have been itching to catch the best movies in theatres. We are delighted to extend our Black Curtain franchise to two major cities in India and to do so with the biggest Hollywood release to-date in 2009.” said Hari V Krishnan, Country Manager, MySpace India. He added “We look forward to bringing more blockbusters to MySpacers in other cities across India in the months to come."
MySpace will continue to host a series of screenings showcasing the most anticipated Bollywood, Hollywood and new world movies prior to their commercial release across India. MySpace India anticipates collaborating with several leading movie studios, and expands the country’s most exciting movie marketing program across the country.
So what are you waiting for?
