When 5 Brand new shows going on Air last weekend- the 13th & 14TH OF July, this is what Mr. Geoffrey Thomas, the Chief programming officer had to say, "Our new shows will take weekends to a whole new level- what with a potpourri of Countdowns , Classics and a Special Show on Books. Countdowns and classics on weekends will keep the listeners glued to their radio sets. Our dance music special every Thursday, Friday and Saturday is International and get people to let down their hair and move to the groove. Chennai will now dance to the tunes of The Beatport 20, F*** Me I'm Famous by David Guetta, Transitions by John Digweed, State of Trance by Armin Van Buuren, Global by Karl Cox. This show will get Chennai onto the dance floor. Just stay tuned to Chennai Live 104.8 fm and get your feet to move to the Beat."

The name says it all. Potpourri is just a mix of everything Chennai loves. Hosted by bubbly Soundharya, every Sunday between 2 and 5 pm, this show gives its listeners a roundup of all the things that happened the week before and things Chennai should not miss in the coming week. From theatre, movies, events, concerts, to shopping festivals, food and much more. If it’s happening in Chennai, it’s on potpourri.

Rock Classics with Geoffrey Thomas

It’s a musical treat for all rock lovers. Geoffrey Thomas presents the best of rock music ranging from Lynard Skynard to Status Quo to Led Zeppelin to The Rolling Stones. Stay tuned to Chennai Live from 5 pm to 8 pm every Sunday and enjoy listening to the best rock classics.
