Cartoon Network & POGO welcome Krishna

On the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janamashtami, India’s number one and number two kids' channels, bring alive the festive celebrations with entertaining fictional stories. 'Krishna And Balaram' premieres on Cartoon Network on 14 August at 2.30 p.m. and the ‘Chhota Bheem Aur Krishna’ will have its world premiere on POGO on 14 August at 12 noon. These two animated movies are a throwback to the mythological Lord Krishna stories with one key element – the adorable, naughty and the wise Kanha. Co-produced by Turner and Hyderabad based Green Gold Studios, both the movies are exclusively created for Cartoon Network and POGO and will be available in English and Hindi.

'Chhota Bheem Aur Krishna' revolves around POGO's homegrown hero Chhota Bheem. The conqueror of innumerable villains, Chhota Bheem faces his first true opponent that he is unable to tackle alone. Bheem & his friends meet Dhuni Baba, who advises them to pray and seek the help of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna answers their prayers and comes to Dholakpur as their saviour and helps Bheem fight the enemies threatening Dholakpur. Make sure to watch the world premiere of
'Chhota Bheem Aur Krishna', on August 14 at 12:00 noon, only on POGO.

The Janmashtami celebrations continue on Cartoon Network with the premiere of the heroic fictional animation movie ‘Krishna And Balaram’. The adventure begins when lord Krishna’s new friends Madhoo, Udho & Sridhama disappear suddenly. Narad ji, informs lord Krishna & Balarama that their friends have actually been taken hostage by a monster, sent by their evil uncle Kansa, across the seas. Watch lord Krishna and Balaram as they rescue their friends from the dreaded monster in edge of the seat exciting movie ‘Krishna And Balaram’ on August 14th at 2.30 pm only on Cartoon Network.
