Vh1, the international entertainment channel brings to you the biggest Asian artist from the UK, Raghav. Conceptualized by Viacom Brand Solutions, Rayban Vh1 Global Music Xpress is India’s biggest music initiative ever and after many success stories with British R&B artist Jay Sean, British singer Laura Critchley and more recently Karl Wolf, it keeps the charm as they bring down Raghav for a dynamic 4 day music tour. Raghav wowed the audience in Mumbai today and will continue to rivet audiences in Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad on the 27th, 28th and 30th respectively.

‘My Kinda Girl’, Raghav’s giant new single marks the highly-anticipated return of the 27-year-old, who sold an imposing 1.3 million copies of his 2004 debut album ‘Storyteller’ around the globe. With 4 smashing hits on the top ten, ‘So Confused’, ‘It Can’t Be Right’, ‘Can’t Get Enough’ and ‘Let’s Work It Out’, Raghav had the world grooving to indie-pop and R&B. He gave his listeners the 2005 hit single ‘Angel Eyes’ making it clear that his trademark style for fusing his musical influences of hip-hop, R n B, Bollywood, reggae, Indian classic music and soul is an undisputed winner. With the singer’s slick pop vocals and throbbing Bollywood beats the R&B stunner drafted the unmistakable swagger of hip-hop legend Redman to lace his flavorsome masterpieces in his latest album ‘Identity’.

Raghav means business when it comes to his music as his awards speak louder than words. Having bagged the Best Single & Best Newcomer at the 2005 UK Asian Music Awards, Best Chart Act at the 2005 Urban Music Awards and Best Artist at the 200 Southern Asian Music Awards the Indian born artist is creating waves with his international video ‘My Kinda Girl’ featuring Redman in the UK. Having sold 200,000 copies of his last album only in India Raghav is all set to leave his audience mesmerized.

Says Raghav on his visit, "I’m very excited to be debuting new music and a brand new phase in my career in conjunction with Vh1 India and their fantastic Global Music Express tour. My fans in India are the closest to my heart and I can’t wait to see them up close and personal having a great time with me on tour with Vh1."
