Is the grass really greener on the other side? Can two socially different classes co-exist with each other? Premiering this Saturday, UTV Bindass’ newest cult reality show – BIG SWITCH – is going to answer these questions for you. Watch as 10 rich and 10 poor contestants spend 13 weeks with each other, getting a taste of the ‘other’ side of life.

Starting this week, 10 rich, pampered contestants are stripped off all their luxuries and thrown head-first into the ugly truth that the rest call – Life. Paired up with 10 poor, grounded contestants they have to work as a team and stick with each other through thick and thin, working their way together to ultimately fulfill their poor buddy’s life-long dream.
The first episode starts off with the young & bubbly show host, Genelia D’Souza, welcoming the rich contestants. As they bond over what may seem like their last hearty breakfast, they anticipate the days that lie ahead. After they finish their meal, Genelia pairs them up for their first task and heads out, while they are left to fend for themselves in this new environment. The pairs head over to the Madh Island Jetty, where they have exactly Rs.2 which they can use to cross over to the other side. Once there, each pair is given a clue, using which they have to find their way to their new home – ‘The Big Switch House’.
Relieved after completing the first task, the contestants are ready to call it a day, when Genelia comes in with a new surprise for them. This time around, they have to clean the house in exchange for mattresses that they can sleep on. Watch on to see if 15 minutes be enough to collect 40kgs of garbage and remove goats from the house.
The contestants are finally given 500 rupees, using which they have to order dinner for 10 people. After a lot of contemplation, they place the order. Being used to 7 course meals and personal butlers, will the food suffice for all? Or will the contestants starve their way through the 13 weeks of their ‘Switched’ lifestyle?
