Radio Mango 91.9 is all set to celebrate Children's Day with a difference. On November 14th, in a quirky twist of fantasy, all the radio jockeys across all 4 stations will find themselves 'magically' transformed into children. This transformation is made possible by a two-week activity dedicated to finding and training the right candidates for the job. The fully equipped child jockeys take over the studios on Children's Day. By then they would be trained to mimic
Radio Mango's hugely popular radio jockeys right down to each one's speaking style, modulation and particular on-air idiosyncrasies and catch phrases. This activity will take place across the day at all four Radio Mango stations - Kochi, Kannur, and Thrissur & Kozhikode - and promises to be a unique experience for the listener. Not just the shows, but all segments, utilities and packaging will be re-created with children, right down to the award winning Station Jingle, feted at the New York Festival. It would be the first time in India that a full day in an FM station will be handled entirely by children.
