Sri Sankara TV launched nearly a year ago with high quality content in Tamil & Kannada is fast becoming a household name in India & other parts of the world. Hari Krishnan, one of the Directors of Kamadhenu Telefilms, the promoters of Sri Sankara TV says "Our concept is to provide enlightened entertainment in the modern context, which will allow audience to revisit ancient Indian and world wisdom & tradition, reviving spiritual values that bring harmony to the soul."
"We live in a world where material things have taken precedence over spiritual values. People of all ages and walks of life are seeking relief from the daily grind. The current entertainment they are exposed to provides escapism but does not touch their soul. Named after the greatest teacher of all times, Sri Sankara TV aims to fill this void in the TV viewing audience bringing spiritualism in an entertaining avatar to the modern society" adds Suresh Kumar, the other director of Kamadhenu Telefilms.
"We were closely monitoring Sri Sankara TV ever since its inception and find their content to be of high value, realistic and readily striking a cord with audience who have experienced the channel. We feel the Channel has the potential to grow into one of the finest spiritual well being channels in the sub continent and are happy to be associated with it" says M S Mahesh, Managing Director of MQ Networks.
Kamadhenu Telefilms has ambitious plans for future expansion and is bullish about the growth of Sri Sankara TV. The Channel has already tied up with TAM and expects robust viewership ratings in the months to follow. Come January, the channel will be launching a host of new shows to attract and hold viewers. Needles to say the channel will be a viewer’s spiritual delight.
"We have already started talking to large advertisers & Media buying agencies at an all India level and have been receiving very positive response. We are indeed gung-ho about the promise this channel holds and happy to have it in our bouquet" says Arvind Kumar, CEO of MQ networks and former senior vice president of Zee network.
