Zee Cinema has devised a refreshing way of inviting viewers to watch their favorite blockbusters this Christmas. Everybody’s’ favorite Santa Claus is being seen promoting the special line up of movies in a very Bollywood way on the channel. An innovative animated promo where Santa Claus is moving around in his sledge, singing a catchy Hinglish jingle, based on the movies to be telecast on the December 25th, has been created by the channel.
The Christmas special line up has been sponsored by ‘Junior Horlicks Biscuits’ and will telecast ‘Garam Masala’ (8:30 am), ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ (12 noon), ‘Jab We Met’ (4 pm) and ‘Mr India’ (8 pm).
Mohan Gopinath, Business Head, Zee Cinema, said, "A ‘Christmas Special’ event cannot be accomplished without Santa Claus. When we thought of the concept of making an animated promo with Santa Claus we knew that it would be a refreshing change from the usual trailers that we make for our movies and hence would be an instant connect with the viewers."
