All India Marwari Yuva Manch (AIMYM), the largest Ngo of youths in country honoured Radio Misty, the first and Number one fm station of North Bengal and Sikkim with excellence award in field of music and culture at a Gala Ceremony held in Siliguri. This is the silver jubilee year of the organisation. AIMYM also organised an Artificial limb distribution and polio corrective surgery camp on this occasion.

AIMYM is one of the largest volunteer organization in India having around 30000 members of age group 18 to 45 years. It has branches spread all over India and as of today it has around 650 branches. The first branch of Yuva Manch was started on 10 October 1977 In Guwahati. Then it spread all over the country and today it has existence all over the country. Apart from that it has members spread all over the world and some new branches outside the country have also come up. The main aim of the organization is to organize the youth force and prepare them to contribute to the progress of the community as well as of the Nation.
Former Union Minister Dilip Gandhi handed over the citation of excellence to Radio Misty Chief Executive Officer Nishant Mittal at the gala ceremony. Radio Misty was also honoured at International literary festival last month.
