Zee 24 Taas, the first 24-hour Marathi news channel takes great pride in felicitating the real heroes of Maharashtra. Zee 24 Taas Ananya Sanman has created a platform to honor the Maharashtrian achievers from different walks of life. In its first year, Ananya Sanman 2008 honored the Marathi achievers from various fields who achieved fame in their respective arena of work.

This year Zee 24 Taas Ananya Sanman takes one step ahead and aspires to give due recognition to the real heroes who have considerably contributed in their sphere of work. People who have done great deal of work in their fields but still go un-recognized and stayed away from limelight.

There are seven different categories that have been chosen to honor unsung heroes and a lifetime achievement recognition to a person of stature. These categories are Entertainment, Sports, Business, Farming, Education, Social Service and Bravery.

Final selection of the winners for their excellence in respective fields was done by an eminent jury consisting of Bharat Kumar Raut, Kiran More, Ashok Patki, Ujjwal Nirgudkar, and Sanjay Gaikwad.

The event will be held on 28th January 2010 in Mumbai.

Zee 24 Taas got revamped recently with complete new look & feel led by whole new range of programming with varied content. With its new positioning i.e. "Ek Paul Pudhe" (One Step Ahead) Zee 24 Taas makes an attitudinal statement which is very well aligned with the channel’s effort to always be ahead of others when it comes to creating platforms for work recognition of people from different spheres of life.
