After the successful launch of Oggy & the Cockroaches, Nick, India’s leading kid’s entertainment channel adds another comic series – the award winning ‘Chicken Stew’ to its vast bouquet of shows. The story follows one of the most enduring struggles in the history of barnyard-animal history: chicken versus weasel! The brand new exciting show premieres on 1st February at 5 pm and will definitely leave the Nicksters rolling with laughter. This rib tickler is sure to strike a chord with adults and kids alike and is sure to entertain the entire family.

Having won a number of awards, Chicken Stew is a fast-paced comedy that follows the classic tradition of ‘the great chase.’ The show gives viewers a peek at the trials of three upstanding, independent chickens, Small Fry, Free Range and Uncle Wattles sharing a spacious two-story home down at the Funny Farm. Not far from the farm, a giant junkyard is home to a sneaky pair of weasels known as Glutton and Slim. These old boys, when not at war with each other, attempt one evil plan after another in pursuit of the elusive hot chicken dinner. Not surprisingly, due to their skill and resolve, poultry triumphs over evil every time.
