Zee News, India’s leading Hindi News Channel, launched its water conservation campaign under the banner of its India First initiative in the capital today. Aptly named as "Save Water for a better tomorrow", the campaign aims at spreading awareness and knowledge about the significance of water conservation for a safe and secure tomorrow.
Extending support to the campaign were Bollywood celebrities Boman Irani, Mininisha Lamba and Sameer Dattani who appealed to the citizens to value and conserve water to ensure its availability in future.
They not just pledged to lend full support to the India First campaign of Zee News but ‘Professor’ Boman Irani even gave an absorbing lecture to the students on water conservation and sustainability.
Besides, students from a number of schools and kids from NGO Shikar, presented thought provoking skits and dramas on water conservation.
Through this initiative, Zee News aims to urgently address the impending threat of a water crisis that could jeopardize the existence of millions of people around the world.
