Continuing the journey of empowering India through its India First Campaign, Zee News has received support from Abhinav Bindra the brightest star amongst the talented Indian shooters.

Based on Mahatma Gandhi’s ‘India of My Dreams’, India First is a Zee News endeavour to encourage and inspire millions of Indians to believe in themselves and work towards the betterment of our country.

Abhinav Bindra is an ace shooter who has made India proud by winning for the country the first ever Individual Olympic Gold Medal in 108 years. He won the 10 meter air rifle event in the 2008 Beijing Games.

Speaking about the India First Campaign, Abhinav Bindra congratulated Zee News for this nation building initiative. He urged people not to let differences of caste, creed or religion divide them.

He joined Zee News’ India First family, by taking the oath "I am Indian Nationalism is my religion."
