With a view to celebrate the Indian animation talent and recognize the next generation of creative minds, Frameboxx, India's leading Animation and Visual Effects training studio, presented the second edition of the most coveted Frameflixx Awards-2010 at a glittering function in Goa on May 16, 2010.

The awards ceremony was not only a convergence platform for the Indian animation and visual effects industry but also a platform for announcing the tie up between Frameboxx and Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) to co-partner and organize the Frameflixx-Digicon Awards. This tie up will be the Indian chapter of the Digicon Asia Awards. The winners of the event are directly nominated and eligible for going to Tokyo for the Asia Digicon Awards.
The various categories for the awards included the Frameflixx animation Grand Challenger Award for animation, visual effects, photography and design; the Frameflixx Award for Best Live action; Frameflixx awards for best visual effects; Frameflixx Award for Best Experimental Film; Frameflixx awards for Best Student Demoreel; the Frameflixx Platinum Achievers' Award for Contribution to Animation & Visual Effects Industry; Viewers Choice Award for Best Animation short film – student; Frameflixx Award for The Best Animation Film.
After the winners of last year's Frameflixx got national as well as international recognition this time Frameflixx 2 has felicitated internal as well as external talents, which was one of the highlights of the event.

These awards were announced with the core objective to invigorate and unite the brightest creative minds in the country on a unique platform that recognizes and rewards skill and the spirit of achievement.
The second FrameFlixx Awards received more than 250 entries for animation, visual effects and short films made by the students from across the country & abroad which were judged by a panel comprising of animation & film industry experts.
The jury for the Frameflixx Awards – 2010 include one of the most prominent and renowned names of the industry namely Mr Sanjay Gadhvi, director of movie 'Dhoom 1 & 2', Mr A.K. Madhavan of Crest Animations Studios, Ms Sesha Prasad of Rhythm and Hues, Mr Yunus Bukhari of Artery VFX, Ms Shelley Page of Dreamworks Animation, Mr Biju Dhanapalan of Fable Farm, Mr Japheth Bautista of Frameboxx, Nilesh Saradesai of Prana Studios, Pankaj Khandpur of Tata Elxsi, Mr Biren Ghose of Paprikaas, Mr Vaibhav Kumaresh of Vaibhav Studios, Mr Merzin Tavaria of Prime Focus, Mr Arvind Kumar of AAA Digital Imaging among others.
Commenting on Frameflixx-2 and the future of animation industry in India, Mr Naveen Gupta, executive director Frameboxx, says "India is a recent entrant in the international animation scene, but over the years it emerged as a hot-bed of talent. In the years to come, India will position itself as a top player in the animation market riding high on its talent potential."
