In its quest to constantly offer something different to it's audiences, Imagine is joining hands with UTV Tele Talkies, to present Rakt Sambhandh, a show with the most dramatic storyline seen on Indian television till date.

Breaking away from the trend of regular story plots, Rakt Sambandh traces the journey of Shamrao Savratkar, a proud father of five dutiful daughters and the beautiful bond they share with each other. With four of the daughters happily married, each one is trying their best to cope with family life situations with a smile. For Sadanand, who is unaware of the complexities in his daughters' lives, is overjoyed at his youngest daughter Sandhya's wedding ceremony. Despite being visually impaired, Sandhya has found Yuvraj, a handsome boy from a well respected family and an affluent background. Amidst all the celebration … fate turns its back on this happy family. In a cruel turn of events, all the fun and merriment comes to a standstill due to an unforeseen incident that changes the lives of the entire family.

Sriti Jha portrays the role of Sandhya. Rakt Sambandh features some of television's popular stars such as veteran actor Kitty Krishnamurthi alongside a host of other talented artists like Sayantani Ghosh, Gungun, Bhargavi Chirmule, Sonali Nikam, Mohan Agashe, Mazhar Syed, Sachin Shroff, Naman Shaw.
