Are you missing the action of IPL now that it is over??? Not to worry, SAB TV brings its viewers the action and drama of cricket back, packed with loads of entertainment with GPL – Gokuldham Premiere League (GPL) 2on Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chahsmah. After the immense success of the 1st season of GPL last year, the cricket tournament is back on the show with its fresh new season and lots of excitement. The cricketing action begins 16th June onwards at 8:30pm Monday to Thursday only on SAB TV. There are no bookies, bidding of teams or match fixing involved but the only person in a 'fix' this year in GPL 2 is Jethalal as Dayaben and Babita are competing against each other for the championship.
The two teams of season 2 of GPL will be lead by the most popular characters of the show, our very own Daya Bhabhi owns a team named The DAYA DAREDEVILS while the gorgeous Babita leads a team named BABITA BLASTERS. Like last year the kids in Gokuldham Society decide to have a series of cricket matches again as part of society's extracurricular activities but, unlike last year there would be having female captains this year who will choose the teams and take complete charge of the cricket ground.
Disha Vakhani aka Daya Bhabhi will be sporting a complete new look which is sure to entertain the viewers. On becoming the captain of DAYA DAREDEVILS team she said, "GPL season 2 of Gokuldam Society is going to rock this year as it's the women who are going to take charge of the teams, we shall show the men we can man the kitchen and the field both equally well, Hum kisise kam nahi.
The GPL – 2 this time starts with an inaugural ceremony which has performances by all the characters. The cricketing fever has just caught on and our teams Daya Daredevils and Babita Blasters are all set to face each other on the pitch. But the question remains, whose teams will Jetha Lal be in? Ek Taraf Biwi aur Ek Taraf unki dost, Kya Hoga Ab Jetha Lal Ka Haal?
