MAA TV, a leading Telugu General Entertainment Channel (GEC) Network, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Telugu Satellite telecast rights of 58 movies from Warner Bros' popular Hollywood film library.
The basket of 58 Hollywood movies consists of blockbuster movies such as 300 Warriors, Matrix, Matrix Revolutions, Matrix Reloaded, Eraser, Lethal Weapon, Superman Returns, US Marshalls, Ocean's Eleven, Polar Express, Specialist, Born to be Wild, Catwoman, Dennis the Menace, Romeo Must Die, Hurricane smith, Island, Last Samurai, Mad Max 2, Mars Attacks, Outbreak, Perfect World, Tom and Jerry Blast Off to Mars, Almost Heroes, American Flyers, Batman, Batman Vs Dracula, Batman Beyond and Maverick, besides many other movies.
Warner Bros. is a global leader in the creation, production, distribution and marketing of creative content and stands at the forefront of the Hollywood Entertainment industry with several blockbuster movies.
The agreement provides MAA TV with exclusive satellite telecast rights for the Telugu version of 58 popular English movies. The agreement also facilitates MAA TV with multiple telecasts over a period of two years. MAA TV Plans to air these movies every Sunday .The first movie to go on-air will be Matrix i.e. on Sunday, 25th July 2010 at 9:00 AM.
With a commitment to deliver pleasant and wholesome entertainment to Telugu TV viewers, MAA TV has taken up a series of new initiatives in the recent past. As part of these initiatives, MAA TV has built a strong movie library that boasts of cult classics and blockbusters in Telugu cinema to enthral its viewers. The acquisition of the Telugu telecast rights of 58 Hollywood movies from Warner Bros library enriches the position of MAA TV as an entertainment provider.
