94.3 MY FM celebrates the festival of Navratri with passion and pride

94.3 MY FM Bhopal is celebrating its third anniversary on May 27th with a social initiative of MY FM's 'Koshish Dil Se', under the station's CSR programme. Citizens of Bhopal will get an opportunity to be a part of this initiative with MY FM as it furthers its philosophy of Jiyo Dil Se by making a difference in the lives of people through 'Koshish Dil SeIn the City of Lakes, as the station turns three, 3 underprivileged children will be chosen and MY FM will undertake the responsibility of providing them a healthy lifestyle. Being one of the primary requirements for healthy growth, MY FM has chosen to provide year round supply of Milk for these children. MY FM will also take up the efforts to enroll these children in NGO run schools to cater to their education. As part of this initiative, MY FM will also urge citizens to participate in this cause by making contributions and donations for these under privileged kids.

Its Navratri time again. The time to rejoice, the time to dance to the tunes of Dandiya and show off your moves! India's favorite radio station 94.3 MY FM, welcomed Navratri- the festival that symbolizes good over evil, with delight and poise. The radio station organized a mix of on air and on ground activities to prepare its listeners all across India for non stop, exciting Navratri merriment starting October 8, 2010.

To add maximum excitement and jollity to the occasion, MY FM partnered with the best garbas across cities like Nagpur, Raipur, Bhopal, Indore and Ahmadabad. In Nagpur, MY FM tied up with 3 leading dandiya events Ras Garba, Dandiya and Dhamaal Dandiya by Sankalp as exclusive radio partners. Also, in Raipur and Bhopal, the radio station tied up with the biggest navratri specials My Garba Utsav 2010 and Abhivyakti respectively. Not only that, the channel celebrated Navratri in Indore and Ahmedabad as well by partnering a 3 day dandiya event in Indore and being a part of the Shanku's Dandiya '10 in Ahmedabad as the only media sponsors. All the garba nights and events took place from October 8th - 16th, 2010.

As a part of their on air contribution to the celebrations of Navratri, 94.3 MY FM played 2 navratri special songs per hour throughout the day, all across its 17 stations plus aired a dedicated slot in the night band, during which non stop Dandiya music was played. Further more, MY FM also gave out branded Navratri CD's and Dandiya sticks to its listeners for that extra feel of carousing - Nacho Dil Se, Jiyo Dil Se.

Also, this year as a special offering to Navratri, MY FM is launching the Ramayana. The Ramayana will be aired in the early morning time band all through the week, so that the listeners get to start their day on a positive note and feel the pride in celebrating the festival.
