As part of CNN's longstanding commitment to the Asia Pacific region and its ongoing expansion of its Asian coverage, the network is redefining its weekday evening primetime line up, led by a brand new show hosted by Kristie Lu Stout. Throughout November CNN will also take its monthly i-List series to four dynamic countries acrossthe region, in addition to further extensive coverage on air and online.
From Monday November 8th, the new evening line up will be led by a new hour-long program News Stream anchored from Hong Kong by award-winning anchor Kristie Lu Stout. News Stream uses smart, cutting-edge technology to better relate key stories and forge relationships with viewers through social media. Visually arresting and different in look and feel to any CNN news show to date, the program also showcases a network of digital correspondents around the world.
Next up in the new primetime at 7:30 pm is World Business Today, anchored from the world's three most influential financial hubs with Andrew Stevens in Hong Kong, Charles Hodson in London and Maggie Lake in New York. The program follows the opening of The New York Stock Exchange and provides an hour of insightful business news and analysis. International Desk with Isha Sesay at 8:30 pm then brings viewers into the heart of the largest newsgathering operation in the world as news stories develop and break.

From November 1st CNN turns its cameras for no less than four weeks of in-depth coverage from around Asia, featuring live reporting, special packages and features, interviews, exclusives and more. The first i-List comes from Malaysia where Zain Verjee will report live from Kuala Lumpur throughout the week on the forces driving one of the region's fastest-growing economies and most culturally-diverse nations. i-List then travels to South Korea where Anna Coren reports live from Seoul, one of the world's most technologically-advanced cities. In the third week of November, coinciding with the APEC forum in Sapporo, i-List heads to Tokyo where Kyung Lah will lead a week of programming before Anna Coren in Jakarta rounds off a remarkable month of Asia coverage with i-List Indonesia looking in-depth at the world's most populous Muslim nation.
CNN has also recently launched its "Asia is" initiative by turning the tables on its global audiences to solicit their thoughts and opinions on what Asia means to them. >From a personal, cultural and economic perspective, viewers are invited to point their cameras at themselves and describe the world's most culturally diverse and vibrant continent by simply completing the sentence "Asia is…" in ten seconds using iReport, CNN's user-generated news community at www.ireport.com/asiais or directly via the CNN international iPhone app.
