The Nobel Peace Prize Concert has been held annually since 1994 on December 11, one day after the date of Alfred Nobel's death, to honour the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. The award ceremony on December 10 takes place in The City Hall of Oslo, Norway, while the concert is in the Oslo Spektrum Arena, with the attendance of the laureate and other prominent guests.

The arena receives approximately 6,500-7,000 guests and the concert is broadcast to over 100 countries. Artist from around the world will gather in Oslo Spektrum to help spread the message of peace and celebrate the Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 2010, Liu Xiaobo.

Denzel Washington and Anne Hathaway will host the Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2010. Artists performing this year includes Barry Manilow, Elvis Costello, Herbie Hancock, Jamiroquai, Robyn, Florence + the Machine, Colbie Caillat, India.Aria, A.R. Rahman and Sivert Hoyem.
