STAR Pravah, the Marathi General Entertainment Channel from STAR Entertainment Media Pvt. Ltd. which brought to its beloved audiences iconic shows like, Agnihotra, Mann Udhan Varyache , Olakh & more recently Swapnanchya Palikadle and Tujh Vin Sakhya Re is now pleased to present an intense romantic story - Bandh Reshmanche. Premiering from February 21st every Monday to Saturday @ 8.30pm, Bandh Reshmanche is a tale of intrigue, romance, and a social tug-of-war set in interior Maharashtra. The series portrays the adoring love story of Nandini Bramhapurikar (played by Suparna Kharde) and Shekharraj Daulatrao (played by Akshar Kothare) and will keep viewers glued as the chemistry between the characters sparkle on screen.

The lovely Nandini hails from a modest background and lives with her father Indubhushan Bramhapurkar (Ravindra Mahajani), two sisters, and a sister-in-law in their ancestral Wada. She has a strong value system, and believes in standing up for what she feels is right. Shekharraj, on the other hand, is a total contrast - the epitome of the brash new rich class, with a dynamic yet ominous personality. The 'nouveau riche' Shekharraj buys the Brahmapurikar's ancestral house, and Nandini and her family are relegated to the servant's quarters at the back of the huge Wada. Nandini's resentment of Shekharraj turns into hatred - but beneath that is a deep basis for a unique relationship between them... How will Shekharraj win Nandini's heart? How will the couple resolve their differences and come together? Join the journey as the hatred turns into love.
Bandh Reshmanche, which replaces the immensely popular Zhunjh that ends on February 19, 2011 has been directed by Vaibhav Chinchalkar, and produced by Balaji Telefilms. Witness the battle between rich and poor, between cash and class, and join a pair of star-crossed lovers on their journey from disgust and hatred all the way to mutual understanding and love beginning February 21 at 8.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, only on STAR Pravah.
