On the eve of India's World Cup quarter final clash with Australia, millions of Indian's were praying for an Indian win. Echoing the sentiments of cricket crazy country, Red FM Delhi, undertook a very interesting and unique Totka activity to help Team India win this much awaited match.

Red FM, the station for expression, has been urging its listeners to share their quirky Totkas to ensure that the Indian team wins. Listeners then vote for these, and the most popular Totka is executed by Red FM with the entire city of Delhi. For the quarter final against Australia, the most voted Totka was by a cricket crazy enthusiast who cleans his colony prior to every match of India.

Hence, for this match, Red FM not only helped this eager fan to clean his colony but also took a massive cleanliness drive across the city to ensure that any obstacle that comes in the way of an Indian win is eliminated.

Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP - Projects and Programming, Red FM, said, "Cricket is by far the most unifying and binding sport in India. When it comes to cricket, there are superstitions (Totkas) galore that fans resort to! With our Totka activity, we have managed to get maximum participation from cricket fans across the city. Australia is a tough opponent so we had to up the ante for this Totka to work. We have also roped in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) as a part of activity to help us undertake a mass cleanliness drive across the city. We are hoping the Totka works in our favor and helps Team India win. And if India reaches the semi final listeners can rest assure that Red FM Delhi will leave no stone unturned to help India reach the final!"

An ardent follower of cricket, Yogendra Chandolia, Chairman, MCD Standing Committee said "I'm delighted that MCD is partnering 93.5 Red FM in executing this Totka. MCD is proactive in keeping the city cleans, but today along with Red FM we are taking on a special cleanliness drive; which will not only get Delhi cleaner, but also help Team India win the Quarter Finals at World Cup. Only 93.5 Red FM can come up with such a concept!!"

The execution of the Totka was undertaken across areas starting from Sadar Bazar at 10.30 am followed by Karol Bagh at 1.30 pm, RK Puram at 3.30 pm and concluded at Ashok Vihar at 6 pm, along with MCD councilors for each area driving the initiative with Red FM; creating quite a stir in the city. Red FM OB RJ's were constantly on the move and managed to garner active participation from the people.
