RED FM Pune treats its listeners to Live IPL action

With IPL frenzy taking over the country Red FM Pune gave 80 lucky listeners the chance to watch Pune Warriors in their maiden outing against Kings XI Punjab at the DY Patil stadium in Mumbai. The activity gathered enthusiastic response from Punekars who rose to the occasion and lent their support to the home team.

Spearheaded by RJ Sangram, the new entrant to the RED FM fold, the activity kick started on 7th April. For two days in a row, RJs across various shows urged the listeners to SMS PN space RED and send it to 58585 to be a part of Pune Warriors first ever match. Creating a stir in the city, the activity reached out to cricket crazy Punekars and culminated into more than 12,000 smses within the span of two days.

80 lucky listeners got a chance of their lifetime to accompany RJ Sangram, who hosts Morning No.1 (Mon-Fri 7-11am) on Red FM Pune, to DY Patil stadium and watch their home team emerge victorious against Kings XI Punjab. Amidst huge fanfare and band-baaja RJ Sangram, who hosts Red FM Pune's morning drive time show Morning No 1 (Mon-Fri 7-11am), took two Volvo buses full of cricket crazy fans to the stadium whose enthusiasm was tough to curtail! The lucky listeners watched the match together as Yuvraj Singh led Pune Warriors recorded their first win in style.
