Red FM discovers 'Mumbai Indians Ka Sabse Bada Fan'

Red FM, the official radio partner for Mumbai Indians for the fourth year in a row, has been on a look out for 'Mumbai Indians ka Sabse Bada Fan'. Spearheaded by RJ Rohini, who hosts the popular show Red FM Adda (Mon-Sat 2-5pm), the most heard radio channel began the hunt for the biggest fan of the Mumbai Indians who was willing to go to any extent to prove his loyalty towards the team!

Amongst many who claimed to be the fans of Mumbai Indians, RJ Rohini found a die-hard fan in Vivek Sonawane, an avid Red FM listener and an ardent cricket lover. Red FM will test his mettle by putting forth a task thereby enabling him to earn the title of 'Mumbai Indians ka Sabse Bada Fan'.

As a tribute to every Mumbaikar's idol, the young artist was asked to make a clay statute of the God of Cricket himself LIVE amidst huge fanfare. This masterpiece was created on Wednesday, 4th May at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon along with the support of popular Red FM RJs.

The station for expression also encouraged its listeners to be a part of the activity and pay homage to the Master Blaster by turning up at the venue with a handful of clay! Red FM listeners' present on-ground won exciting Mumbai Indians Merchandise and Tickets to the next match played by Mumbai Indians.

Commenting on the activity, Rana Barua, Business Head, RED 93.5 FM network said, "At Red FM, cricket forms a very integral part of our programming strategy and our association with Mumbai Indians gives us a great chance to leverage the fan connect across age groups. We are proud to be associated with the Mumbai Indians, a team which is close to the heart of every Mumbaikar. In the previous editions of IPL Red FM, the station for expression, had undertaken various activities pledging their support for the team that represents every Mumbaikar. During the first season of IPL, Red FM donned the colour Blue and cheered for the Mumbai Indians whereas during the second season saw Mumbai going crazy participating in the biggest treasure hunt in a bid to see Mumbai Indians play in South Africa. In the third season of IPL, an enthusiastic listener sported a permanent tattoo of Mumbai Indians on his bicep!

This IPL season Red FM ensures never ending passion for Mumbai Indians as it engulfs every Mumbaikar fashioning 'Sachin' out of Mumbai ki Mitti.
