Chennai Live 104.8 FM always ensures to celebrate every occasion in their unique style. This Mother's Day, the radio station decided to go one step ahead and give a royal treatment to the mothers on-air and off it too. On-air, the morning show, Live Talk saw RJ Sanobar catch up with filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, who recently gave birth to triplets. Speaking about the interview, RJ Sanobar says, "Farah Khan is an amazingly talented and very friendly person. She shared several interesting anecdotes about her mother. She credits her mother for her achievements. One of the things she said was, ‘When I was young, both my brother and I were thrashed by mother. That fear and pressure pushed us to become better and I owe my success to her completely. However with my children I don't think it will work that way, as the times have changed.'”
On Friday, May 6th, Chennai Live 104.8 FM decided to dedicate one hour in the morning show to ‘Mum requests'. Ask people to call up and dedicate songs to their mother and wish Mother's Day. Also Chennai Live 104.8 FM is asking all their listeners to change their Facebook profile to them and their mother's photograph. The radio station also played some of the best songs for mothers and tagged them with wishes.
A week long mother's day contest will be carried out on-air, where Chennai Live 104.8 FM asked its listeners to share the most embarrassing moments with their mother and win exciting prizes. The person with the most interesting answer will wins one day stay at Hilton hotel, Chennai. The lucky mother-child will also be taken on-air post the mother's day, to share their experience on the same.
