After a euphoric win for Team India at the ICC World Cup 2011, cricket fanatics across the country welcomed the next most awaited cricketing event of the year " IPL - 4" . With IPL passion reaching frenzy across the country, India's renowned radio station 94.3 MY FM, kicked off a vigorous, unified and extravagant 'Cricketmania'. The initiative is focused towards bringing all the cricketing action closer to its listeners in a true 'Jiyo Dil Se' style.
MY FM initiated 'Cricketmania' contest where listeners could participate by capturing the spirit of cricket on camera and further sharing these pictures either by uploading them on Facebook page 'Mycricketmania' or e-mailing them as entries. This novel initiative will be concluded with an avant-garde series of Cricketmania exhibitions in all the cities where MY FM has its presence showcasing 30 best pictures from each city. The expositions will be open for public from the month of June giving its listeners a chance to visually indulge and reminisce the exhilarating moments of this intriguing sport.
For this large-scale initiative MY FM has roped in big wigs like T-Series PLAY Mobiles and Kodak as sponsorship partners, and the shortlisted winners will take home cameras and photo books from Kodak and a latest 555X mobile phone from T-series. Through this venture, these brands look forward to reaching out to MY FM's innumerable refined listeners.
Apart from this, winners also stand a chance to share their memorable experiences on air with their favorite RJ's. True to its character - MY FM is taking this engagement to a different level by launching the Cricketmania song strategically timed for a launch post the first fortnight of this 60 days long engagement.
A 360 degree marketing campaign has been adopted by 94.3 MY FM to bring the millions of sentiments of Indian cricket fans across the nation to a common diaspora. The campaign is not only promoted on-air across the 17 stations of MY FM but is also being taken to the fans through a unique tie-up with the leading restaurants and pubs of every city where MY FM is present.
