Kaun Banega Crorepati 2 (KBC 2) launches on Friday August 5th at 9.00 p.m. and will brighten the Star Plus weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), for the next several months. The show as KBC 2 apart from its high technology & state-of-art sets also comes with double the prize money of Rs. 2 crores to be won.

While crorepatis will walk away with the mega bucks, the viewers who loved and enjoyed the game show from the confines of their homes now can also play and win. Remember, for KBC 2 lovers Har Seat Hot Seat hai. All that the viewers have to do is get close to the television set in your home and the moment you hear the KBC 2 jingle and host Amitabh Bachchan get ready…before the game begins, the host will ask a question giving 4 options to all those watching KBC 2 from home. Rush in your answers before the episode ends (that’s when the right answer will be announced) to either the MTNL/BSNL landline 1904 424 7827 followed by the option number (01 or 02 or 03 or 04) or SMS ‘KBC’ to 646 followed by the option number (01 or 02 or 03 or 04). Through a Random Computer Draw the winner of the day will be selected. This winner will get Rs. 2 lakhs for participating in the Har Seat Hot Seat.

If this is designed specially for the viewers, then the contestants, who made it to the Fastest Finger First (FFF), but not on the hot seat, also get a chance to Play Along with the hot seat participant and win Rs. 2 lakhs. The 9 players from the FFF can play along as Amitabh Bachchan asks questions to the hot seat contestants. The participant who is the quickest with his right answers is selected as the Play Along winner by the end of the episode. The winner takes home Rs. 2 lakhs.
