The hugely innovative and anticipated music show that brings together diverse artists from different genres and creating an extraordinary series of innovative and creative medleys will now be available to own on Sony Music.
Sony Music India will ensure fans get access to their favorite Coke Studio songs and this will be available all over the world on CD’s, digital downloads and also to be set as tunes on their mobile phones. Adding to the excitement, fans could also watch and collect the shows on DVD.
Commenting on the association with MTV Coke Studio, Mr. Shridhar Subramaniam – President - Sony India & Middle East said, “Music has the power to transcend barriers and bind people together. Coke Studios@ MTV India is a global platform that serves to facilitate & provide a platform for artistes to collaborate with musicians of vastly different backgrounds, where they aspire to set foot on ground that hasn't been explored thus far. The collaborations are so eclectic as to bring together Shafqat Ali and Shruti Pathak, Sunidhi Chauhan and Wadali Brothers, Kailash Kher and Papon, Shankar Mahadevan and Khogen Da, and Bombay Jayshree, Richa Sharma and Rashid Khan among others. And the result - a divine fusion of music that embraces the essence of India.
Sony Music along with Coke and MTV have come together to drive this initiative in India.
