RJ Anuraag Pandey, is a firm believer in the power of Lord Ganesha and worships him dutifully. This year, RJ Anuraag Pandey will do something special, innovative and fun for Mumbaikars.
During the 10 day celebration of Ganeshotsav, many Ganesh devotees in Mumbaikars go on an Ashtavinayak pilgrimage to make an auspicious start and seek blessings from the temple. Pandit Pandey personalizes this very phenomenon and acts like a messenger for the ones who cannot make it this year, taking devotees’ prayers to Ashtavinayak. What’s more! He also takes along some of the lucky listeners with him to be a part of the sacred journey.
The station has been receiving calls regularly from the listeners, sharing their prayers for themselves and the city. Whether it is respite from the downpour, inflation or corruption, listeners are praying to Lord Ganesha requesting for a solution. While Mumbaikars share their wishes, Bollywood celebs like Sonam Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Sonu Sood, Rakhi Sawant, Imran Khan, Shaan…have also sent their requests via Anuraag Pandey to convey their prayers to Lord Ganesha. His Pandit Pandey avatar has hugely been appreciated in the past as he did the Pandit Pandey ki Aarti for Ganesh Utsav last year and was actively involved during the Navratri and Durga Pujo in Mumbai.
An ecstatic RJ Anuraag, said, “Being a staunch believer in the power of Bappa Morya I decided to embark upon a journey to the holy Ashtavinayak taking along with me the prayers of my listeners and well wishers from the industry. I hope I’m successful in helping them to seek Ganpati Bappa’s blessings and look forward at the listeners’ response to ‘Pandit Pandey’.”
In the recent past Pandey also walked to the Siddhivinayak temple twice to pray for the Indian Cricket team's victory during the World Cup semis and finals. He was also accompanied by various Bollywood stars along with Fever 104 FM listeners who walked bare foot from Fever 104 FM office – Andheri, to the temple in Dadar. Tune in to Fever 104 FM to share your wish, Mon-Fri, 7am -11am.
