The English show - Sing Off, a unique reality competition show is premiering on Vh1, India's premier International Entertainment channel on 5th September, 2011 and will be airing all this month. The Sing-Off has 50 singers on stage singing in perfect harmony, filling out all the parts – instruments be dammed, a beautiful and moving thing. The show showcases cappella groups from around America competing against each other to win the worthy prize of a recording contract. The Sing – Off is hosted by none other than Nick Lachey who became known for his hit reality show – Newlyweds with his then wife Jessica Simpson.

The series features contestants performing popular, contemporary songs that you haven't heard before, unplugged! The series will witness bands crooking their own numbers with no lip-synching or back-tracks! Eight cappella groups perform songs they have chosen, with one group eliminated at the end of the show. The series sees an expression of love and emotion being spread rather than jealousy and fights with group members. It is a show that features the love for singing, bonding with the group member that is next to impossible and performing with an incredible collection of singers from across the entire nation, from all different backgrounds, creating a community of singers and friends that you will never forget.

The show is judged by well-known people from the music industry who are known to be part of cappella groups. The judges include – well-known Shawn Stockman who is famous for being part of the famous vocal quartet Boys II Men, Ben Folds renowned pianist and also known for gaining a strong audience following in U.K. and Australia and charting up the blockbuster in the national top 40 in Britain with his music. And lastly, Nicole Scherzinger, the talented performer, singer, songwriter and actress who was asked to join the famous Pussycat Dolls for recording as the lead singer after her standout performance on WB's Popstars.

The cappella groups competing for the coveted title are Beelzebubs from Medford, Massachusetts; Noteworthy from Provo, Utah; Face from Boulder, Colorado; Maxx Factor from Baltimore, Maryland; Nota from San Juan Puerto Rico; The SoCals from Los Angeles, California; Solo from Omaha, Nebraska and Voices of Lee from Cleveland, Tennessee.

So tune into watch the drama that unfolds every Monday @ 7.00pm, repeat @ 10.00pm, only on Vh1, premiering on 5th September
