Suvarna's new fiction is on brother-sister bonding

Suvarna announces the launch of new mega serial, Anna Thangi (Brother-Sister), which starts from 3rd October 11. Perhaps, for the first time a serial in Kannada is completely centered on the sacred relationship of brother & sister.

The serial boasts of several firsts to its credit. It has an interesting line-up of star cast. Yesteryear actor, Supreme Hero Shashikumar makes his small screen debut, the serial is being directed by noted film-maker Mahesh Babu, whose is also first foray into television. Mahesh Babu was the man behind such hits as Akash, Arasu and Merevenege. Besides roping in Master Kishen, the child actor-director, who etched his name in the Guinness Book of World Records, the serial will also see noted film music director Harikrishna too scoring music for the first time for a television serial.

Produced by Dr Suresh Sharma of London-based Ruby Cine Krafts, the serial, Anna Thangi, will be telecast Monday to Friday at 6.30 pm.

Suvarna stands for fresh and differentiated programming in Kannada. A family entertainment channel that has a lineup of popular programs including Nodi Swamy Naavirodhe Heege, Krishna Rukmini, Lakumi, Guru Raghavendra Vaibhava, Classmates, Preethiyinda, Bombat Bhojana, Bhavya Brahmanda and Paduvaralli Paddegalu.

Anna Thangi will be telecast from 3rd October, at 6.30pm during weekday.
