Robbie is a veteran of the '80s metal scene who is passionate about all things scaly, and Stephen is a former New York City bartender who is more comfortable hailing a cab than handling a snake. Robbie and Stephen run Glades Herp Farms, Florida’s largest reptile sanctuary and exotic reptile dealership. Their farm also houses Florida’s International Teaching Zoo, which is full of rare species from around the globe and brings in a constant stream of new and different animals each month. In each episode of Discovery Channel’s new series SWAMP BROTHERS, the brothers put themselves on the line to protect the most unusual of creatures - from pythons and gators to wildcats and bears.
The SWAMP BROTHERS didn't set out to work with slithering, sharp-toothed animals. As a child, older brother Robbie loved two things: music and wildlife. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles to play bass in a rock band, living a life of excess on the Sunset Strip. Eventually realising his true passion was for wildlife and reptiles, Robbie moved to Florida and Glades Herp Farm, bringing with him his rock 'n' roll attitude and a penchant for living on the edge. Today, Robbie is a skilled expert in all herpetofauna – especially crocodilians and venomous snakes. His goal is to one day take what he's learned on the farm and open his very own teaching zoo, where he can continue to teach people to conserve and respect animals.
Robbie's younger brother Stephen, is a pure city boy at heart who headed straight to the Big Apple after graduating from university. During his 14 years in New York City, Stephen held his dream job as a bartender, where drinking, telling jokes and flirting with girls were all in a day's work. When Robbie asked Stephen to help him expand the business, Stephen initially was not thrilled to leave the big city life, especially to spend all his time around dangerous animals. Overly cautious by nature, Stephen concedes that where reptiles are concerned, he always bows to the expertise of his brother.
From pythons to rogue bobcats, the brothers make it their business to track these beasts down, capture them and return them to a safe environment – without losing life or limb in the process. Follow the exploits and misadventures of the Keszeys in the following episodes of SWAMP BROTHERS on Discovery Channel.

Partners in Slime
In the series premiere, a very nervous Stephen has to distract a highly aggressive mama gator while Robbie collects her eggs to save them from being eaten by wildlife. Stephen is also forced to come face-to-face with his fear of snakes, and makes a newbie mistake that results in a few wild hogs running wild on the farm.
Sex and the Single Gator
The Swamp Brothers head out on gator patrol, and Stephen learns how to tell the difference between male and female gators when he has to get up close and personal with one of the farm’s females. Robbie heads into a lion’s den to sedate a sick male while Stephen keeps an eye on the protective lioness as she’s ready to pounce.
That's the Big One
Robbie and Stephen set out to find the big male gator that has been terrorizing their swamp and injuring other animals. It will take more than just the two of them to capture and move the massive 14-foot bully. When a snake rescue call comes in, Robbie springs into action with a reluctant Stephen to save several giant pythons they find in some surprising locations.
A Croc Walks into a Swamp...
A lover’s quarrel between two giant reptiles has the Swamp Brothers nursing a Cuban croc back to health. Despite the crocs recent loss to an overbearing female, this fast galloping male is still a feisty match, even for Robbie. When Robbie gets a call about an injured female leopard, he finds that the vets are having trouble getting past her over-protective mate. Robbie has a plan, but Stephen isn't happy to be used as bait to trap the aggressive male.
Everything’s Bigger in Texas
While exhibiting at a reptile expo in Texas, Robbie gets a call from the local zoo. A crocodile has been feistier than usual and a gorilla is overdue for some dental work, and the vets need
his expert help. When Robbie and Stephen head to help tag and release sea turtles, only one brother remembers his sea legs.
Long Necks and Short Fuses
It’s a day at the zoo! The boys try their hand at a more exotic animal, when a baby giraffe’s injury turns into a dangerous multi-man operation. Also, romance is in the air for Galapagos turtles but the Swamp Brothers need to help a giant female out of a mud pile before she can meet her Mr. Right. Then it’s time to find some rattlers in the desert.
Straw that Broke the Camel’s Back
The Swamp Brothers start their day with an early morning snake call. After Stephen's knowledge is put to the test, they return to the farm to move some gators who have outgrown their home. Robbie handles the catching while Stephen is in charge of running them to a bigger pond. Additionally, The Keszey boys get a call from S.A.F.E. Sanctuary, whose stubborn camel needs some holistic healing.
Up a Swamp with One Paddle
When Robbie and Stephen run into some trouble during a baby gator catching mission, Stephen learns just how important self-protection is in his new job. Adding to the excitement, Stephen must then face his fears in a lake full of venomous snakes.
No Crocodile Tears on this Farm
It's all business today when the Swamp Brothers go on the hunt for black racer snakes to feed to their King Cobras. Afterwards, it's time to tag Robbie's moody crocodiles but these aggressive reptiles are having none of it. The danger factor is upped a notch when Stephen takes the lead.
Grin and “Bear” It
When Stephen’s nemesis, the Cuban Croc, sneaks out of his pen to rendezvous with a 10 foot female gator, it’s up to the brothers to catch the Cuban, before he catches anyone else. Later, a Florida Fish and Wildlife call could potentially turn deadly when an unusual pet is spraying venom around. To make matters worse, Stephen finds himself holding on to something belonging to a Black Bear.
Three-Legged Gator Race
It’s time for Stephen to learn the art of milking a snake from Robbie and the owner of Reptile Discovery Center. But with live snakes lining every wall, the Swamp Brothers need to be on point; one little bump could be a deadly move in this venom lab. Afterwards, Robbie and Stephen, along with Al Roberts, head out into the everglades to grab some blood samples from wild alligators. But one of those gators comes up…a little short.
