Discovery Science brings the strange, bizarre but eerily real interests of people and the shop that caters to them in a new series Oddities. Dive into the weird world of strange and extraordinary science artifacts from a book bound with human skin and fossil dinosaur faeces. Also meet the people who buy them through the eyes of the proprietors of Manhattan's Obscura Antiques & Oddities. Oddities will premiere on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 pm on Discovery Science.

Witness the extent to which co-owners Mike Zohn, Evan Michelson and buyer Ryan Matthew search flea markets, auctions, antique shows, estate sales and garage sales for their wares, everything from bizarre medical instruments and turn-of-the-century masks to Victorian hair jewellery.

In Oddities, the trio of Mike, Evan and Ryan, will be seen searching and collecting dark and curious artifacts which will leave their wacky customers aghast. And along the way meet the experts who can verify their finds, the quirky sellers who bring their unusual items to the shop.

Follow Mike, Evan and Ryan as they go to great lengths to deliver that mummified human skull for that small niche museum, or a framed rare tarantula for an obsessive insect collector.

Tune in to Discovery Science for your encounter with the strange artifacts at Oddities as they take viewers around their shop, Obscura and show them all their odd and eccentric collection.
