Zee Kannada’s popular comedy series Parvathi Parameshwara has crossed its 700th episode mark. The show that airs at 10:30pm has the credit of extending the prime time slots in Kannada television.

Sihikahi Chandru the creative director of the show opines that the audience after watching the drama and gore on television have to go to sleep with a happy and light heart, which is the aim of the show.
The sitcom revolves around two neighboring households, the friendship between the two households, the hopes and aspirations of the characters, the romances, in all its Parvathi Parameshwara!
The show started with an entirely new cast of actors. Today the actors of the show are household name and recognised widely by their characters. The witty dialogues by M.S. Narashima Murthy and crisp execution of the episodes by Prithviraj Kulkarni has made Parvathi Parameshwara a tremendous success.
