Get ready to celebrate Republic Day with fervor and patriotism as Radio Mirchi gears up to make this day special with a new initiative – ‘Mera India’ with its listeners. In a unique endeavor, Mirchi RJs across the stations shared what Republic Day means to them, the videos of which were uploaded and shared on various social networking platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc.
Mirchi listeners were asked to come forward on Mirchi Facebook page, and share what is the one special thing that makes them love India. For four days leading up to the Republic Day, Mirchi fans were invited to share their entries on Facebook. The best entries and the pictures of the winner will be featured on official Mirchi page on 26th January!
Rahul Balyan, Head – Digital Initiatives, commented on the Republic Day special initiative saying, “We thought of capturing the mood of the youth of India and their feelings about the republic day. And who better to represent the youth of India than the RJs of Radio Mirchi, who engage with the 4 Cr listeners every day directly, and are themselves amongst the biggest youth icons of their cities. This video was shot across all our stations across the country, and tries to captures the sentiment of the nation.’
