Regaling viewers with the best of Hollywood action content, UTV Action presents the power packed film ‘The Green Hornet’ dubbed in Hindi for the very first time on Indian television on 25th February 2012 at 8.45pm as the Movie of the Month.
Playboy Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) becomes the new publisher of a leading Los Angeles daily after the sudden death of his father. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father's more industrious and inventive employees, Kato (Jay Chou), they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. To get close to the criminals, they come up with the perfect cover: they'll pose as criminals themselves. Britt becomes the vigilante masked superhero - The Green Hornet, as he and Kato hit the streets and begin a hunt for the man who controls LA's gritty underworld.
Commenting on the movie of the month, Manasi Sapre, Programming Head, UTV Action said, “The Green Hornet is based on the iconic Superhero character and a cult film series- which was Bruce Lee’s breakout role in Hollywood. This over the top and stunt packed action comedy remake was a blockbuster worlswide when it released in 2011. Dubbed in Hindi, our viewers can now enjoy the film within a year of its release.”
