Akshay Kumar launches Aajtak Care Awards anthem

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar along with the children from SOS India family formally launched the Aajtak Care Awards Anthem at a hotel in Powai, Mumbai. Aaj Tak Care Awards aims to honour the excellence in CSR by various Corporate Houses. Through Aaj Tak Care Awards, the channel wishes to stimulate this society-enabling approach and appreciate the good work in this direction.

Inspired by the theme, Aaj Tak’s team tied up with SOS India to shoot the various aspects of corporate social responsibility. The audio video showreel also doubles up as an appeal to Corporate India to come forward and espouse such noble causes.

The lyrics of the anthem go as below:

Indradhanush ki diwaaron pe

Chhoti-chhoti lakeerein kheechun

Dhoop milaun.. badal gholun..

Satrangi takdeerein kar lun..

Ashaon wali tokri mein

mutthi-mutthi sapne bhar lun..

pankh failaun aasman se

puri duniya roshan kar lun….

The Awards are slated to be held between end of May or beginning of June 2012.
