Goibibo.com, India's fastest growing online travel site launches Flight Advice - a recommendation engine for international flights.
Traditionally flights are sorted based on lowest prices. “Goibibo Flight Advise” learns from user search pattern and then ranks the flights based on its cancellation policy, duration taken, stops, fares etc to deliver the most relevant results. Thereby recommending the least agonizing flights that are not just based on price.
Since its recent launch, more than 45% of Goibibo buyers have used this application. As per the feedback from the travelers: they find it more convenient to book using this application versus normal booking flow.
Vikalp Sahni, CTO of Goibibo.com states: “This initiative is in line with our promise of making bookings simpler and faster for travelers. One can enable “Flight Advice” by toggling an on/off switch on top right corner of search results bar”.
