Asianet movies which opened a new horizon of entertainment to the viewers with movies round the clock got the applause of the viewers by obtaining 140 GRP (Gross rating Point) in its first week of telecast itself.
Asianet has the copyright of more than 1500 films including super hits and those the viewers like to watch frequently. More over, Asianet movies also telecasts other film related progammes.
Asianet, which has a wide collection of films of the legends like K S Sethumadhavan, P Bhaskaran, Vincent etc. telecast classic movies in Asianet Movies on every Wednesday at 1.30pm
Asianet Movies, which started its telecast run with the movie 'Spanish Masala', presents seven movies per day for the film viewers. As a part of the celebration of the first anniversary, the channel makes a new step with a monthly attraction,'movie of the month' from July. 'Movie of the month' starts with the block buster movie 'Mayamohini' on July 14th at 07.30pm.

On July 15, the first anniversary day, Asianet Movies presents a bunch of superhit movies to the viewers. The channel telecasts Gulumal at 06.30am, Keralavarma Pazhassi Raja at 09.00am, Nandanam at 01.00pm, Crazy Gopalan at 04.30pm and Kerala Cafe at 07.30pm.
