Nick, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channel brings alive Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale ‘The Jungle Book’ this July. Published first in 1893, Nick presents “The Jungle Book”, a world class animation series produced by DQ Entertainment. The superior animation brings the evergreen and endearing characters and the story to life while contemporising and presenting the classic Jungle Book in a brand new avatar. The newest animated series premiers on 22nd July on Nick, every Monday to Friday at 10:30 am.
‘The Jungle Book’ is an enthralling tale of a man-cub ‘Mowgli’ who is raised by the wolves and his only companions are animals. The show has interesting animal characters that Mowgli teams up with, like ‘Bagheera’ and ‘Baloo’ to fight with the evil tiger ‘Shere Khan’, who is out to get Mowgli. The lush tropical forest of Seeonee, splendid Indian royal forts, temples, waterfalls and other picturesque locales coupled with superior animation technology make it a feast for the eyes.
Speaking about this exciting initiative, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Executive Vice President & Business Head, Kids’ Cluster, Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd, says, “Nick has always believed in delivering engaging content and endearing characters and Jungle Book is just that. We are excited to bring to our viewers a timeless story with affable characters, in a contemporised look, which is sure to enthral kids across all ages.”
