Nation’s leading news channel, India TV announces Officer’s Choice Salaam India Awards to salute the spirit of courage by the common man.

Individuals who have stepped forward altruistically and with great determination to face the challenge head-on, safeguarding someone else’s interest while risking their own lives.

The initiative is an honor to the exemplary acts of bravery and spirits of courage and celebrates valor and attempts to inculcate humanity among our fellow citizens, inspiring them to emulate such acts.

The Award will be given among four broad categories namely Bravery Awards, Gallantry Awards, Damini Awards and Special Awards. An eminent panel of jurors comprising of distinguished personalities will select the final honorees.

India TV has invited nominations from all over the country. Deserving brave-hearts will be given a worthy public recognition and through these honours.

The brave-hearts will be honored at a glittering ceremony at the Taj Palace, New Delhi on the 28th September.
