Percept Activ flawlessly executes the Mirchi Music Awards - Marathi 2014

Percept Activ the brand activation arm of Percept Limited executed the ‘Mirchi Music Awards – Marathi 2014’, the annual property owned by Radio Mirchi. The illustrious awards are a pioneering effort in honoring and celebrating the best in Marathi music, and was held on January 28, 2014 in the city of Pune.

The Balewadi Badminton Courts venue was chosen to host this prestigious function. Percept Activ being a leader in the activations arena executed the event flawlessly. Within a limited time span of 4 days, the sprawling badminton courts were converted into an auditorium with an incredible stage setup powered with the best Sound & Light system. The set up also included video streaming, green rooms, and seamless catering for numerous artists and guests.

The night was made even more memorable with amazing SFX and spectacular performances from Avadhoot Gupte who rode on to the stage on a bike, mellifluous renditions from ace singer Sonu Nigam, and a blend of traditional performances such as the ‘Dhol Tasha’.

Over 2,000 guests and celebrities from the Marathi Film Industry attended the 2nd edition of the Mirchi Music Awards – Marathi 2014, including Ajinkya Deo, Ramesh Deo, Sachin Pilgaonkar and Suresh Wadkar.

In its 2nd year, the ‘Renewgreen Mirchi Music Awards – Marathi powered by Idea’ aims at being the ultimate platform for the Marathi Music Industry to come together and raise a toast to success of Marathi Music. The event was shot by ETV Marathi and will be broadcasted on ETV on February 16, 2014 from 8.00 pm onwards.
