TIMES NOW launches the 'Elections Mobile App'

TIMES NOW, India's No.1 English News channel brings General Elections 2014 to the fingertips of viewers as it launches a new mobile app to give users access to all content related to elections. TIMES NOW partnered with Nokia to develop the app that focuses on providing real time information through video, image and text feeds on the General election. The application is available on Android, iOS, Nokia X and Windows Phone. Users can download the application by giving a missed call to the number 07042166868, which gives them a custom link to their particular app store.

The App allows users to watch Feeds in the form of Videos (from Youtube) which cover all the special election programming as well as a live feed of the action as it happens. It also provides options to like, reply or share feeds and Plug in TIMES NOW’s social feeds (from Twitter/ FB).

It also allows users to chat with each other and their buddies and the channel to chat with users while the show is on air. Users can watch live telecast of the channel from the Indiatimes website link available in the app.

Speaking on the launch of the app, MD and CEO of Times television Network, M.K Anand, said, “We have launched this exclusive app for our viewers on the move to keep them informed regarding news, updates and the entire coverage of election news. We believe that the app will aid them in making the right decision in choosing the next leadership.”
