MUMBAI
Disney Channel will treat kids and families alike to three time Oscar Nominated ‘TOY STORY’ on Sunday, November 27th at 11 a.m. Toy Story is a fully computer-generated imagery (CGI) animation film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures and Buena Vista Distribution. Toy Story was the first feature-length completely computer-animated movie released by Disney, and is often quoted as the first-of-its-kind movie of all time. This 1995 hit was Oscar nominated for Best Original Score, Best Song and Best Original Screenplay.
‘TOY STORY’ is the engaging tale about the secret life of toys, who come alive in the absence of humans. The toys belong to a little boy named Andy Davis. Woody, a toy cowboy has long been Andy's favorite toy. When Andy gets a flashy new astronaut called Buzz Lightyear for his birthday, Woody feels neglected and jealous. Buzz, a not-very-bright type really thinks he is a superhero astronaut marooned on an alien planet. When he falls out of a window, the other toys accuse Woody of trying to kill him.
But there are real threats in store like the mean kid next door who tears toys apart and puts them back together in creepy combinations. Then, when Andy's family decides to move, Woody and Buzz get left at a gas station and have to figure out how to reunite with their friends, which include green plastic soldiers, Tinkertoys, Etch-a-Sketch, Mr. Potatohead, Slinky Dog, Rex the cowardly Tyrannosaurus and others. Will the toys be able to sort their differences out, overcome adversity and live happily ever after, Disney style? Find out on November 27th at 11 a.m. on Disney Channel.

In India, we have used Indian kids to showcase and promote the film as an expression of the fun and imagination that toys bring to Indian Kid’s lives.” says Nachiket Pantvaidya, Director Programming and Production, Walt Disney Television International-India.
