Radio Today, the radio division of the Delhi-based India Today group has entered its traditional bastion after a year of launching operations in Mumbai. 93.5 Red FM went on-air in Delhi at midnight on April 29 to a rapturous welcome from city-dwellers. Congratulatory calls poured in through the night and Red FM has a potent mix of programming for the listener in the age group of 18-35 spanning socio economic classes of A and B.
The morning show called Good Morning Delhi will focus on providing "right information at the right time".
Delhi Talkies will be targeted at the housewife, shopkeeper or retailer - people who are not on the move. It is a television serial guideline providing a quick wrap-up of the K-shows.
Total Timepass focuses on games and interaction while Happy Hours is a "drive-home show" and Palchhin, a late night show focusing on mushy music.
The station is the official radio partner for the Samsung IIFA Awards and has a slot devoted in the morning between 5.00 am and 7.00 am for music releases by sister company Music Today.
