Times Global Broadcasting Co. Ltd. announced the launch of TIMES NOW, the new 24-hour cutting-edge news and current affairs TV channel for India. With the tagline, 'Feel The News', TIMES NOW - a Times Group and Reuters service - targets the Indian urbanite with news and shows that are relevant, distinctive and appealing.
Beaming out of its news centres in Mumbai and Delhi, with live links to multiple facilities across the country and the world, TIMES NOW, with its own news resources, harness the best of content from The Times of India, The Economic Times and Reuters, making it a news powerhouse. With a focus on the big news story, TIMES NOW's programming integrates the media tastes of urbanites through news and current affairs, business and urban trends. The channel also carries live financial updates throughout the day from Reuters bureaus around the world- a feature unique in the Indian broadcast market.
Speaking on the launch of TIMES NOW, Mr. Vineet Jain, Chairman, Times Global Broadcasting Co. The TIMES NOW Editorial team breaks down the barriers between news gatherers and consumers of news, making viewers feel the news with those who feel it first.
