Rajasthan Patrika celebrates 50 years of excellence on 7th march, its foundation day. Celebrations for the 50 years of excellence happened through the year. 6th and 7th day of March shall see the day with a new look to the city. Main markets of the city has been decorated and covered with drapes and lights that gives an appearance of Diwali, Welcome Gates have been drawn across the city.

Fireworks would be exhibited, which will be launched from various parts of the city. When the fireworks shall begin at the same point of time from different destinations, the city shall feel for the first time, as if some one has poured light on the magnificent pink city.

During the night, shows from various bands of the city shall happen at the major gates of the walled city and markets shall float in decorative lights across the city. To celebrate the special day with readers of the newspaper special coupons has been released for readers of Rajasthan Patrika, which shall allow them to shop at irresistible discounts. An entire newspaper edition has been printed in golden, which embeds the completion of the golden jubilee of the newspaper.

Not just Jaipur, but the 10 cities of the state shall be celebrating the anniversary. Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Sikar, Ajmer, Kota, Alwar, Bhilwara, Jaipur and Pali are experiencing Diwali, even when Diwali is not even round the corner.
