'Get Gorgeous 3' set to launch on Channel [V]

The mission to discover the long-hidden beauty of the girl next door and launch her in the glamorous world of high fashion. The hunt for the country’s hottest face, Get Gorgeous-III presented by Mrs. Marino & partnered by Matrix Model Management is all set to launch this Thursday, March 16, at 7:30p.m exclusively on Channel . This 8-episode series will take you through the high drama, excitement and tribulations of a nationwide search to identify the ONE girl who has the looks, the grit, the determination and the potential to GET GORGEOUS!

The first episode captures the excitement of the Get Gorgeous III auditions that were held in New Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai where Nayonika Chatterjee, chief expert panelist auditioned thousands of hopefuls who tried every trick in the book to get into the competition. Will Miss Pune, Rucha Gawas’ confidence and prior experience get her a fast track entry into the competition? Or does Lucky from Lucknow whose ambition is to become the country’s next supermodel have the style and attitude to impress? Not to miss… Rachita, the 30-year-old doctor from Bangalore who refuses to leave the auditions unless Nayonika selects her!!! From psychologists, engineers, doctors to students, the Get Gorgeous auditions had them all.

The chosen ones will be initially screened by the experienced expert panel to arrive at a shortlist of 15 finalists. These 15 selected faces will then be given a complete makeover and grooming by Noyonika Chatterjee along with the panel of experts from the industry such as Dancer and choreographer Rajiv Goswami; Ace photographer- Colstan Julian; Styling tips from Elle Magazine editor Nonita Kalra, fitness tips from Leena Mogre and skin experts from Kaya Skin Clinic, offering them the opportunity to reveal their true beauty in the competition there on.

Apart from winning the title of GET GORGEOUS 2006, the winner will also get a modeling contract with Channel & numero uno Modelling Agency Matrix Models – the same agency that manages the careers of Bollywood super stars Dino Morea, John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Yana Gupta to name a few.

Channel ’s VJ Pia Trivedi, one of the most sought after faces in the modeling world today and a Matrix model herself, will host the series and take viewers through their journey on Channel ’s Get Gorgeous.
