This Sunday night, get ready to be tickled till you turn pink, with an exclusive sneak peek into the making of Shawn Levy’s, THE PINK PANTHER. Watch some never seen before behind-the-scenes footage of this star-studded flick on Sunday, April 23rd at 8:30 p.m. only on “Opening Night” on Star Movies.

Opening Night will not only showcase clippings of the unreleased movie, but will also take you behind the scenes for an exclusive snapshot on the making of this comedy. Tune in as Steve Martin, Beyonce Knowles, Kevin Kline and Jean Reno talk about their experiences and funny moments while shooting the film. Watch how the famous Henry Mancini Pink Panther theme was a vital tool during the making of the movie and how it was played between takes for inspiration and heightened the mood of the crew.

Star Movies will present a sneak peek into this exciting movie, based on the 1964 Peter Sellers original film, Comic superstar Steve Martin stars as Inspector Jacques Clouseau in an all-new adventure of THE PINK PANTHER. A world famous soccer coach has been murdered and his priceless ring has been stolen- a ring set with the stunning diamond known as the Pink Panther. The French government needs a master detective to solve the crime and recover the gem... but he's not available, so they recruit Inspector Jacques Clouseau. He and his partner, Ponton (Reno), must unmask the murderer and keep their boss, Dreyfus (Kline), from taking credit for the victory, all without bringing the French legal system to a screeching halt.
