New Delhi, May 9
It is the nature of all things that they evolve…grow stronger …and better. So it is the case with AWAAZ, India’s First Dedicated Consumer Channel.
The new and improved AWAAZ has very recently undergone a rigorous and complete transformation. Whether it be the new classy red and ruby look, which combines aesthetic cleanliness with a classy tone, or the much improved and increasingly interactive programming line-up…it is clear that AWAAZ has evolved to the next level.
This new look has been specially designed by Renderon, which is the world’s premier broadcast animation company - specializing in news, titles, branding and corporate identity – and known for its design and animation the world over…having worked on the presentation and look of leading television networks like NBC and ABC.
The colours used are hues of red and ruby – giving it a refreshing viewing experience and creating a whole new identity. The look has been changed to suit the tastes of the new and ambitious, affluent Indian consumers – who form the majority of the viewer base of the channel.
Commenting on the new look, an Awaaz spokesperson said, “Awaaz is the fastest growing channel in the country now! Awaaz programming and content appeals to its upscale, affluent Hindi speaking viewers. Awaaz’s packaging & look has been revamped accordingly to suit the tastes of its audience. The new look is being extended to all programmes and properties of Awaaz.”
So what do the Designers have to say about their handiwork? Dan Van Jrem - CEO and Creative Director, Renderon, said "We are delighted to be associated with the TV18 Group and the revamping of India’s only consumer channel, Awaaz. We have given Awaaz an upscale, snazzy and fresh new look to reflect the aspirational lifestyle of its target audience. We are sure this new international look will appeal to the affluent masses that the channel reaches out to in the country".
The other aspect of this transformation is the much revamped programming line-up, which has been made even more interactive, and much more consumer centric. Programming which brings the consumer to the center of its universe. Some of the new innovative programming on the anvil are: Hum Honge Kamyaab – on Campus - a career show on Awaaz, Aapka Darbaar – an on ground show which is making waves on air by bringing Chief Minister’s directly in touch with citizens, and Khas Mulaqat – a show that has the most influential people in India – from politicians to coroporate chiefs to talk about issues that affect India and consumers.
